NIIGATA CITY

Niigata City is about two hours away from Tokyo, at a latitude about the same as San Francisco or Tianjin.
For about 150 years, Niigata has been open to the world as a port city, and has been a big city with people and goods coming and going. Today, it is still a key location for the airport, bullet trains, and highways.
At the same time, the city is home to one of the largest rice fields in Japan, which not only supports the Japanese diet but also plays an important role in the sake culture.
We are looking forward to holding IIAI AAI 2021 in this fascinating place where people and nature are in harmony!
