Formatting and templates

Templates specific to your conference will be provided to you via the author kit. These templates will be configured for the correct composition your conference is using. The following templates below, are general templates designed for conferences using an US Letter (8.5″ x 11″) trim size. See CPS webpage.

  • Upload your paper in two column format via the following system in PDF format, or you can submit your paper in the final manuscript format.
  • The format of the final manuscript should be in a two-column format and 6 pages for full paper, 4 pages for short papers, or 2 pages for poster papers in length. Up to an extra 2 pages can be purchased at registration time.

Submission instruction

We solicit research and experience papers as well as research-in-progress and practitioner reports in any of the technical areas listed under Scope & Topics.

Regular Papers (6 pages) / Short Papers (4 pages)

Submit your paper via the web-based paper submission system following the instructions below:

Regular(full) / Short / Poster Paper submission (expired)

 

NOTE: Please create your account of easychair.com if you don’t.

    • The file that you submit should include the paper title, abstract, keywords, and introduction followed by the body of your paper. The author’s name and address MUST NOT appear in this file. This is to facilitate a blind review.
    • Upload your full paper in two column format (not to exceed 8 single-spaced pages) via the above system in PDF format, or you can submit your paper in the final manuscript format.
    • The format of the final manuscript should be in a two-column format and 6 pages for full paper or 4 pages for short papers in length. Up to an extra 2 pages (total of 8) can be purchased at registration time.
    • Please enter at least two keywords at the time of submission. We need this information when determining reviewers for your paper.
  • Please select relevant topics from the topic areas.
  • Submissions, refereeing, and all correspondence will be conducted by e-mail.

Poster Papers (2 pages)

Submit your paper via the web-based paper submission system following the instructions below:

  • Please select “for poster paper submission” as a topic and also select relevant topics from the topic areas.

No-show policy

The paper may be excluded from IEEE Xplore and the CSDL if the presentation is not made at the conference. Also, no-show papers are not recommended in the post-conference publications.

Presentation Guidelines

  • Each oral presenter has 25 minutes(20 minutes presentation and 5 minutes Q&A) to present the paper and poster presenters present 120 minutes in the poster session to be held at July 10 evening , 2018
  • For poster presenters, we recommend the size of poster is A0(34inch(horizontal) x 47inch(vertical), or A1.
  • For security reason, we recommend you to bring your own laptop computer for your presentation. The conference does not prepare any laptop computer in the session. Only tablet PC is available. If you use it, please upload your presentation data on your server in advance and download the data at your presentation.
  • Video Inputs type of Video projectors in session has VGA and HDMI.
  • AAI 2018 prepares several types connectors to connect your devices to the video projector in session. Please contact the registration desk to rent the connector.
