FAQ

Registration

Q: Although co-author does not present, does co-author need to register when he/she shows up the venue? 
A: Yes, co-author needs to register to enter the facility. 

Q: My student is first author, but supervisor as co-author attends the conference. Can I pay as student? 
A: No. If the registered name is not same as ID, the person is not permitted to enter the venue. 

Q: My student attends as speaker. Supervisor/co-author registration is waived? 
A: No, each person who enter the venue needs to register the conference. 

Q: My paper has 3 co-authored. Do other 2 co-authors need to register even though they do not attend. 
A: No, only person who will show up the event need to register.

Q: I have 2 accepted papers and present both of them with pay additional paper option. In this case, my co-author can attend the conference? 
A: If co-author registered as audience, he/she can attend.

Q: My paper is co-authored by 2 people. All co-authors need to register? 
A: At least one author has to make a registration by the early registration due in order to include your paper(s) into the proceedings.”

Q: Is it possible to be discounted the registration fee?
A: No, we do not discount the fee for any reason because of fairness.

Receipt, Invoice, and Invitation letter

Receipts, invoices and invitation letter will be issued to each participant in the ConfAid (registration system) after the registration. The registration system sent a confirmation email to participants after their application was received. Please access the following URL with the ID and password written at the bottom of the email. After logging in, a link will appear at the bottom of the screen, which can be downloaded in PDF format.

No-show policy

The paper may be excluded from conference proceedings if the presentation is not made at the conference. No-show papers are not also recommended in the post-conference publications. IIAI congress does not receive the submitted papers by past no-show authors. Also, the authors name may be included in prohibited author list where such authors cannot publish the paper from IEEE and related conference any more.

Social function

Q: The conference prepares special meal for specific religion and dietary restriction?
A: No. Please prepare on your own.

Q: Can I request any category of meal? 
A: No. However, the conference provides some salad or fruits when we can buy in. 

Q: My family members can enter the venue? 
A: Only registered person can enter. However, the conference provides additional ticket of social function, such as excursion and banquet with pay. 

Q: How much the price additional banquet and excursion ticket are sold for?
A: Please contact through the contact form.

Program and Presentation Schedule

Q: I would like to request to change the presentation schedule.
A: We do not change it without inevitable reason after conference program is presented on the web.

Q: What is presentation style in the conference?
A: Full paper and short paper presenters orally present at the conference venue. Poster presenter presents at the poster session.

Q: PC for presentation is prepared in the session room?
A: No. Due to the security reason, we do not prepare any devices to be shared.

Q: Authors can change the presentation from onsite to online?
A: IIAI AAI allows authors to change the presentation from onsite to online when only inevitable reason. Classes, lecturing, attending other conferences, meeting, visa problem, and travel impossibility due to the ticket cost are not included in the inevitable reason in IIAI policy.

Publications

CPS publishes the papers in a strong ICT scope (theory, development and application) for CPS publication. IIAI Digital Library (IIAI OCPS) publishes all other papers in the scope of the conference, which are not included in CPS publication. 

IIAI OCPS (IIAI Digital Library) publishes the paper in social and human aspects of applied informatics. Every Series has an ISSN number. Papers included in the series have DOI and CrossRef.
